The course was designed by international golf champion Jack Nicklaus, who has created renowned courses the world over. This project, however, marked a first in North Africa. To create the course, the undisputed golfing expert spent a great deal of time immersing himself in the nature and landscapes of Ifrane, unique in both their beauty and ruggedness. The result is an 18-hole course in perfect harmony with its natural surroundings.
Throughout the course, Jack Nicklaus – the man with 18 Majors to his name – has masterfully combined golf with the natural surroundings; technical skill with enjoyment; and variety with challenge. It is a remarkable achievement and a success of such a high calibre that all players, whether amateur or professional, love playing here.

If there’s one place people love to gather, it’s the Club House at the Michlifen Golf & Country Club.
This is where amateur and professional golfers come together before or after a round of 18 holes to share their love of the game. Tips, amusing anecdotes and personal experiences are all exchanged in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

A space crafted from Timahdit stone and hardwood, featuring generous proportions beneath sloping green-tiled roofs, making for a club in perfect keeping with its surroundings. Think simple, authentic refinement.

The Michlifen Golf & Country Club has its own state-of-the-art Golf Academy, the only one in the Kingdom of Morocco to offer three ‘IMG Performance Studios’, one of which is dedicated to putting analysis and two designed primarily for swing analysis. This facility, equipped with the latest training technology (Sam Put Lab, Trackman 4, Sam Balance Lab, etc.), is run by Adrian Caltagirone, a PGA Professional and state-certified instructor, providing players with bespoke programmes perfectly tailored to their level and needs.
